Renata was born in former Czechoslovakia, where she completed 4 years of college studying economic statistics. She fled her homeland with her husband for the religious and political freedom in 1982 and after receiving political asylum in the USA she moved with her husband to Illinois. They’ve lived in Naperville since 1986. Renata has stayed at home raising her 8 children. During the past 25 years her children attended 4 elementary schools, 3 middle schools and 2 high schools in the district.

In the past few years she devoted her time to grassroots activism, for example she now serves as a Republican precinct committee woman.
